Let us think of education as the means of developing our greatest abilities, because in each of us there is a private hope and dream which, fulfilled, can be translated into benefit for everyone and greater strength for our nation. John F. Kennedy

I believe that each child is a unique person who deserves a secure, caring, and stimulating environment in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and is academically challenging. I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child. If the parent, school, and community does its part in nurturing the growth of these young people, then our students will develop into mature, responsible, supportive citizens. It is our duty to give them the knowledge and tools to make the world a better place for their descendants.
